First Wholesale Success

Expanding Horizons: The Classic Luxury Cheesecake Company’s First Wholesale Success

Last week marked an exciting milestone for The Classic Luxury Cheesecake Company: our very first wholesale sale! Railway City Brewing Company took a chance on our cakes and decided to retail them by the slice. After just one week, I checked in to see how things were going, and I was thrilled to learn that they had sold nearly the entire cake!

This achievement means I now have two of my three streams of business officially in motion:

  1. The market stream – serving loyal customers at the Horton Market every Saturday.
  2. The wholesale stream – selling cheesecakes to local businesses like RCBC, with plans to expand into more shops soon.

Next up is launching the third stream of my business: storefront retail. To test the waters, I’ll be starting pop-up stores in January. My plan is to host pop-ups every Monday and Wednesday at the kitchen storefront I’m currently renting at 157 Ross St., St. Thomas, ON, conveniently located next to Seed Confections.

This step forward is both exciting and humbling. As I expand into wholesale production and sales, I’m also working hard to establish my brand and grow customer awareness at the market. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of my community—from loyal customers who keep coming back for more, to the local businesses who have shared their guidance, advice, and enthusiasm.

When I started The Classic Luxury Cheesecake Company, it was just an idea. Now, seeing that idea blossom into a reality in such a short time fills me with gratitude and determination to continue growing and delivering the best cheesecake experience possible.

Thank you for being a part of this journey and for believing in what I do. Here’s to more milestones ahead!

With gratitude,
Jeff Butler
