Wrapping Up the Holidays and Gearing Up for a Sweet Start to 2025
As the Christmas holiday season winds down, we’re reflecting on an incredible few weeks here at The Classic Luxury Cheesecake Company (CLCC). It’s been a whirlwind of activity, with our team busy fulfilling and delivering online orders. One highlight of the season was our very first custom order: a delightful Candy Cane Cheesecake! This past Saturday, December 28th, we were back at The Horton Farmers Market. While sales were a bit lighter than usual—likely due to the weekend falling just after Christmas and Boxing Day—we still had a fantastic day. It was wonderful to see several of our regular customers returning for another taste of our cheesecake, as well as a few new faces who told us they found us through our Facebook posts.
One of our standout selections this season has been the Burnt Basque Cheesecake, which has quickly become a customer favorite. Both whole cakes and slices have been selling out rapidly, and it’s no surprise. With its creamy, caramelized top and rich, luxurious flavor, this cheesecake is a unique indulgence that our customers can’t seem to get enough of. If you haven’t tried it yet, make sure to grab one soon—it’s a dessert you don’t want to miss!
One comment we hear time and again is how challenging it can be to find a single slice of authentic cheesecake. Most people don’t want to make an entire cake at home—it’s time-consuming, often tedious, and can leave you with too many leftovers. At the market, we offer classic New York-style cheesecake slices that customers can customize with their favorite toppings. This simple convenience is something we’re proud to provide, and it’s been heartwarming to see so many people returning week after week to enjoy their favorite dessert.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce a new opportunity to grab your favorite CLCC treats! Starting January 13th, we’ll be hosting in-store pop-ups at our rental kitchen at 157 Ross Street, right next to Seed Confections. These pop-ups will run on Mondays and Wednesdays, offering whole fresh frozen cakes, slices, and even tiramisu for pickup. You can also place future orders in person, online, or by phone.
